Its high weight-to-profile ratio helps the spoon cast long distances, cut through strong winds, and reach deep feeding zones quickly. On a steady retrieve or troll, the Kamlooper tracks through the water with a frantic swimming action, while a pause sends it fluttering toward the bottom like an injured baitfish. Anglers can also jig it vertically around structure and suspended baitfish. The 3/8 oz. size fits river steelhead and salmon, deep-water lake trout, and bass presentations, while the larger 3/4 oz. spoon adds weight and profile for trophy brown trout, pike, and muskie. Metallic flash and baked-on enamel patterns complete a versatile presentation for reaching fish that spend much of their feeding time deep.
