Anglers Choice Venting/Fizzing Needle Tool

Product Details The Anglers Choice Venting/Fizzing Needle Tool gives offshore and deep-water anglers a practical release tool for snapper, grouper, walleye, and other fish brought up from 50 feet or deeper that show signs of barotrauma and struggle to swim back down. This fish venting tool helps reduce release mortality by relieving trapped gases tied to expanded air bladders, bloated bellies, distended intestines, and bulging eyes, and it uses an exclusive no-clog side vent needle that anglers insert under a scale 1 to 2 inches behind the base of the pectoral fin at a 45-degree angle and only deep enough to release pressure. A double-hilted no-slip grip helps maintain control during use, and the safety storage bungee-cap keeps the needle covered when the tool is stowed with the rest of your release gear.
