Daiichi 1480 Limerick Dry Fly Hook

Ahhh, the Daiichi 1480 Limerick Dry Fly Hook…. a dry fly hook, unique due to its limerick bend. The shape of the wire in the bend weights the tail end of the fly more than a perfect or round bend. Emerger patterns will sit more upright in the water. Some dry flies are aesthetically pleasing when tied on this hook style. Bronze, limerick bend, straight-eye, 1X-fine wire, 2X-short shank, mini-barb. Used for Midges, Spiders and Variants.
