Golden Pheasant Tail Piece

Golden Pheasant is getting harder and harder to find these days. This Golden Pheasant Tail Piece is perfect for most tyers who need a small but quality section of a tail feather for accents or full wings on Atlantic salmon and Spey style steelhead flies. These Golden Pheasant Tail Pieces area cut at about 5-inches at the feather stem. Individual barbs on the feather typically run 2 to 3 inches in length but can vary dramatically. We are happy to accommodate requests for certain characteristics if you include them in the Comment Box when you place the order. All feather sections on the Golden Pheasant Tail Pieces tend to have beautiful markings like that shown in the photo.
