Maxima Knotless Tapered Leader

Product Details Maxima Knotless Tapered Leader gives fly anglers the turnover needed for accurate casts and the softer finish needed for natural presentations. This 9 ft. fly leader combines a stiffer Maxima Chameleon butt section with a softer, low-visibility Maxima Ultragreen tippet section, creating a balanced setup that helps transfer energy cleanly while still letting the fly move with less restriction. That blend works well with dry flies, nymphs, emergers, soft hackles, and small streamers in rivers, lakes, and saltwater flats, making it a practical choice for trout, steelhead, panfish, and other species that respond to a controlled cast and a more natural drift. For anglers who want one tapered leader that handles a wide range of fly patterns and fishing situations, this knotless option covers a lot of water with dependable casting performance. 9 ft. knotless tapered fly leader Stiffer Maxima Chameleon butt section improves turnover and casting control Softer low-vis Maxima Ultragreen tippet section supports natural fly movement Effective for freshwater and saltwater fly fishing with many fly styles Size Test (lb.)
