Ska-Opper – Black

The Ska-Opper – Blackhas it all.Black skaters simply catch fish and are easier for the fish to see during low light periods. With a bit of flash in the tail, a deer hair body topped with foam, and rubber legs, the Ska-Opper – Blackis a mandatory addition to the summer steelhead box. It stays on top all day long and makes a big wake on the surface. We like the 2 on bigger rivers and/or bigger fish like the Dean, Copper, Clearwater, Umpqua, etc. The size 4 seems more appropriate on smaller rivers and/or those with smaller steelhead like the Deschutes, Klickitat, Grand Ronde, etc. TheSka-Opper – Black is our best selling steelhead skater.
